We want to thank you for your interest in Spring Baptist Academy. We understand the importance and significance of deciding where your student will attend school. We are here to help you through the information-gathering process and to later assist you through the Admissions process, if you choose to apply to SBA.
SBA is committed to directing the development of students to enable their educational experience into Christian living. We at Spring Baptist Academy believe in “Kingdom Education”. We are here to assist parents and be an extension of the home in the development of students spiritually, academically, physically, and socially so that they will think from a biblical worldview as they launch into God’s plan and purpose for their lives.

Enrollment & Admissions Guidelines
All applications for Spring Baptist Academy are completed electronically through our website via the New Student Application link.
Spring Baptist Academy serves families from Spring Baptist Church and the surrounding communities who are seeking a Christ-centered, academically strong educational environment.
Age Requirements
Students must meet the following age requirements by September 1 of the enrolling year, unless assessment data indicates a different placement is in the best interest of the student:
● Pre-K: 4 years old
● Kindergarten: 5 years old
● 1st Grade: 6 years old
● 2nd Grade: 7 years old
Admissions Process
Step 1: Submit Application
Complete the New Student Online Application and submit the required fee:
● Pre-K & Kindergarten: $75
● 1st–12th Grade: $150
The following documents must be uploaded at the time of application:
● Birth Certificate
● Immunization Records
● Vision and Hearing Screening Results
● Teacher Recommendation Form (required for students entering 1st–12th grade; a parent must provide teacher email)
Step 2: Student Assessment
Once all required documents and recommendations have been received, an assessment will be scheduled.
Assessment Purpose: The assessment helps determine academic readiness and appropriate grade placement.
Assessment Expectations: To ensure students are set up for success at SBA, applicants should generally demonstrate:
● Reading and math skills at or near grade level
● IOWA Standardized assessment scores at or above the 50th percentile for students entering 1st-12th grade
● Age-appropriate developmental readiness for students entering Pre-K and Kindergarten
Students who fall below these benchmarks may still be considered; however, admission decisions will be based on a holistic review of the student’s academic needs and the school’s ability to provide appropriate support.
Step 3: Enrollment Packet & Parent Portal Setup
After the assessment is complete and grade placement is confirmed:
● Families will receive a link to set up their Parent Portal account
● The Enrollment Packet must be completed online
● Tuition payment plans will be selected during this step
Step 4: Registration Meeting
Families will schedule and attend a Registration Meeting to finalize enrollment.
Items to Bring:
● Birth Certificate (Pre-K and all new students)
● Current Immunization Records (Pre-K, Kindergarten, and new students)
● Statement of Health (signed by a physician)
● Payment of Registration Fees
● Banking information for FACTS tuition account setup
Additional Information
● Final placement decisions are made based on assessment results, academic history, and developmental readiness.
● Spring Baptist Academy reserves the right to place students in the grade level that best supports their success.
