At Spring Baptist Academy, volleyball offers girls in grades 6th through 12th have the opportunity to develop athletic excellence while growing in faith, teamwork, and leadership. More than just a sport, volleyball at SBA is a training ground for godly character, servant-hearted competition, and lasting friendships.
Christ-Centered Competition
Our volleyball teams compete in HAPS and TCAL leagues, representing SBA with humility, strength, and joy. Players are coached not only in the fundamentals of the game, but in what it means to honor Christ in all things — on the court, in the classroom, and beyond.
Student-athletes learn to lead with grace, encourage their teammates, and commit to doing their best as an act of worship to the Lord.

Tryouts and Team Placement
Each season begins with volleyball tryouts, allowing coaches to assess skill levels and form balanced teams at both the junior high and high school levels. Tryouts help ensure that every athlete has the best opportunity to grow, compete, and contribute.
SBA Volleyball Camps
To support student growth and strengthen our program, SBA offers two annual on-site volleyball camps:

Athlete Development Camp
This camp is designed for returning players and athletes looking to sharpen their skills before the season begins. Athletes focus on advanced techniques, team dynamics, strength, and conditioning. -
Intro to Volleyball Skills Camp
This camp introduces younger students and beginners to the game of volleyball through fun drills and foundational instruction. It is a great opportunity for girls who want to explore the sport and build the confidence and ability to play in future seasons.
Annual Pink Out Game
A highlight of the volleyball season is our Annual Pink Out Game, where we raise awareness for breast cancer and show support for families affected by it. The entire SBA community wears pink, and our players take the court with purpose, love, and unity.
This special event reminds us that sports can be a powerful platform to reflect Christ’s compassion and to serve others with grace.

SBA Volleyball is a sisterhood rooted in Christ. Our teams pray together, serve one another, and build deep friendships through both challenge and celebration. Students develop leadership skills, spiritual discipline, and the resilience to pursue God’s calling in every season of life.
